Kamersvol geskenke CPT 2011
Cornelia from de liefde and her husband Adi, hosted a amazing lunch on their beautiful farm, Kalmoesfoentein. I had a stall there for the day showcasing some of my work. A big thank you to Maree from Natural light photography for capturing all my work once again!
toffie festival 2011
I had the great opportunity to be part of the toffie dinner held by CARA (designer & food), Sumien Brink (editor) and Ulrich Knoblauch (photographer).
Cara Brink, my co-worker & designer and I did the styling for CPUT exhibition in 2009. The idea was to create an interactive space exhibiting the student’s work but also creating something special. The theme, all things paper, was great for the event very light, simplistic and interesting. The walls and ceiling was draped in unprinted news paper and finished of with origami birds.
Cara and myself had the great opportunity to host a stylish event alongside Cornelia Badenhorst from De Liefde on their farm, Kalmoesfontein for the soon to be mom, Retha Erichsen, owner of decor shop ‘The Farmer’s Daughter. It was a cold and rainy day, which we thought was the best weather for this occasion. We created a cosy farm theme inside for this special day. Lighting candles, throwing some wood into the fireplace and filling the atmosphere with the delicious aromas of food Cara prepared for the occasion. Maree from Natural Light Photography made sure to capture all the special moments and detail of the day!
